Community in the club

I initially met Christians on Campus when I was touring NC State during the spring break of my senior year in high school. I was going around the tables and looking at all the clubs when I saw a Christian club. I was very excited to see this club because I was hoping to build my relationship with Christ throughout college. The first people I met were very warm, welcoming and I could tell they had a passion for Christ which led me to sign up for the club. Later on in the summer I was included in a group chat where I met more people from the club and did a bible reading in the book of John. 

Once I came on campus I went to the first Sunday service and was able to meet wonderful people I have since built relationships with. I was also able to experience Christ in new ways by worshipping and studying His words. I made sure to go to Tuesday's Bible studies to fellowship with members of the club. My favorite meetings were Friday night meetings where we would go to an alumni’s house for dinner and worship. I was able to involve one of my good friends with the club by going to this dinner with him. We would usually play games such as ping pong, foosball or basketball before dinner. There were many things I got to do with this club that I would not have experienced otherwise!
